WOW!

So... It's been 4 days since I was crowned Miss Texarkana Arkansas and I am still super excited and happy! Every morning I wake up singing and I feel so good!! I have been keeping up with the Miss America Preliminary competitions and I am so excited for Miss Arkansas, Alyse Eady!! I know she is representing us so well and I can't wait to see the outcome of all of her hard work... 
The one thing I love about watching Miss America is how much it inspires me to work hard as well.  The 2011 Miss Arkansas pageant is constantly on my mind.  I am so ready for my directors to get back to Texarkana so that we can meet and start planning.  I start classes tomorrow morning and I will probably meet with my voice teacher in the afternoon. I know that she is very excited and knowing her, she has probably been thinking of a couple of songs she would like for me to work on.  She is such a great teacher and I can't wait to work with her for the semester.  I feel like I am on a winning team this year.  I am a part of an amazing Miss Arkansas pageant and I feel like I have so much support.  I really feel like I am gonna do really well at Miss Arkansas this year...

I am so thankful for everything in my life, both good and not so good.  The good things make me smile and a lot of the not so good things make me better... I am so optimistic about this year and I know that there are great things in store for me.  I can't wait to see what they are! :)
